Terms of Service

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE_DATE]

This page describes how StageRight works today and is provided for transparency. It may be updated from time to time — always refer to the version published here. It is a general description, not legal advice, and is not a complete statement of your rights or ours.

1 · The service

StageRight (“StageRight,” “we,” “us”) is operated by [LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME], located at [ENTITY_ADDRESS]. StageRight is a virtual staging tool: you upload a photograph of an empty room, choose a room type and interior style, and we use artificial intelligence to return furnished, listing-ready variants of that photo.

Outputs are AI-generated images. They depict furniture and decor that do not physically exist in the room. The service does not modify, sell, or install any real furniture. By using StageRight you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2 · Accounts

You sign in with a passwordless email magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate account information. You must be at least 18 years old to use StageRight. Notify us at [CONTACT_EMAIL] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3 · Acceptable use

When using StageRight, you agree that you will not:

  • Upload any image you do not own or have the rights to use and stage.
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content, or content depicting people in a way you are not authorized to use.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models, prompts, or systems behind the service.
  • Circumvent, disable, or abuse rate limits, credit accounting, or any access controls, or use automated means to overload the service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the service itself (as opposed to using the staged outputs in your own listings).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and may remove content that does.

4 · Credits and payment

StageRight runs on credits, purchased as one-time packs — there are no subscriptions. One credit = one job = two high-resolution variants of a single photo. New accounts receive one free credit. Credits never expire.

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases. This means Paddle — not StageRight — is the seller of record for your transaction and handles billing, taxes, and payment compliance. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5 · Intellectual property

Your input photos remain yours. You retain all rights to the room photographs you upload. You grant StageRight a limited license to process, store, and transmit those photos solely to provide the service (including sending them to our AI generation provider to produce your results).

You receive a commercial-use license to your staged outputs. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and to your having the rights to the input photo, we grant you a worldwide, royalty-free license to use the generated variants for any lawful purpose, including real estate listings and marketing. StageRight claims no ownership of your listings or the way you use your outputs.

6 · AI disclaimer and staging disclosure

Staged outputs are computer-generated. They are approximations and may contain visual inaccuracies, artifacts, altered proportions, or features that do not reflect the real condition of the property. You are responsible for reviewing every output before use.

You are responsible for disclosing that an image is virtually staged. Many jurisdictions and multiple listing services (MLS) require that virtually staged or digitally altered listing photos be clearly labeled — for example, California Assembly Bill 723 requires disclosure that a listing image has been digitally altered. You must comply with all applicable disclosure rules in your market. StageRight offers an optional “virtually staged” watermark to help, but using it (or any other disclosure) is your responsibility.

7 · Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, error-free, or suitable for any particular listing or transaction.

8 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StageRight and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50.

9 · Termination

You may stop using StageRight at any time and delete your content from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, the AI and warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

10 · Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version here. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11 · Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these Terms can be sent to [CONTACT_EMAIL].
